Cosworth Fuel Computer
Did the sierra or esc ever come with a fuel computer? See them advertised all the time but don't know if its just a case of someone claiming its from a cossie just to treble the value.
If they are genuine are they easy to wire in?

Nope, the fuel computer was apparently never compatible with the Webber management system.
The tall, square units are Granada and MK4 Escort, the longer ones with 3 different-sized buttons are from the Sierra 2000e.

Cheers theres loads of ebay described as sierra cosworth fuel computers. Lying tossers just adding the word cosworth to push the price up.

...as standard in the UK-spec. All Ghia models from 1987 to 1991 had the loom for them though, including the extra wire from the fuel tank sender up to the dash, just not the computer or sub-loom.

Was an option on 87-91 Ghia models, but very expensive so most people did not bother with it.
Same as on Escort XR and RS models, about a £600 option so most people didn't bother.

So it wouldn't work on a cossie then with the weber marreli system? I've never seen one fitted and always wondered why.

Ther is no point fitting a fuel computer to a cossie cause it will only read empty all the time, cuse cossies are that thirsty hee heelol.

The Fuel Flow reading is different on the Weber system compared to the Ford EEC-IV
