Focus Rs Stolen!! NOW FOUND!!
This is a good friends of mine Vik. The thieves broke into her house, walked past all of her money, laptop, stereo, everything, and just went for the keys to this.
It was stolen from harefield and as apparently seen on the M25 at 3am yesterday morning.
Please keep an eye out folks.

I personally leave my keys near the door but out of sight of it, I don't want someone coming into my bedroom disturbing me and my wife over a car.
I hope she gets her car back

I think we got ours from B&Q, like i said not too expensive and IMO worth it.
With regards to not wanting someone coming into the bedroom and disturbing you etc I have a can of hairspray near the bed, so whoever woke me up would get an eyefull of that
None of our keys are visible from either of the doors, to avoid the pikey bastards hooking them through the letterbox... but like PP, they aren't hidden as I'm a lot more comfortable with the idea of sitting in my living room on the phone to insurance company reporting a stolen car than lying in a hospital bed (or worse) after being worked over with a baseball bat/knife and STILL having my car stolen.
If these scummers are breaking into peoples houses without waking them, then they really want your car and are professional theives. As far as I'm concerned, they can have the car, as long as they leave me and my family alone.
Hope that the lass gets her Focus RS back though, its a horrible feeling knowing someones out there in your pride and joy.

I've just realised I made a typo lol The keys are out of sight of my door and you would never be able to see or hook them from the door but once the door is open you can see them.

Well bit of a long update this one.
The police went round to boyfriends family yesterday, the cars been used in Robberys and Burglarys across the country, shes been in Liverpool, Worcester, Bedford, West Midlands. The best bit, they kept the plate on!! So every ANPR camera was picking it up and they were tracking it across the country. Like Gems it was used to steal another car. Then we get the call last night, the police had my baby.
Sooooo spoke to them today, the thieves had left her in a private road in Chesham - so not a million miles from where she got taken from. The residents in the road had reported a suspicious car. In the road next to the road the focus was found, was the car they had used the focus to steal. The focus was all locked up, and so was the other car. Implication being they had locked it up whilst they cased the big posh houses where she was found. I dropped the spare key to the police today so forensics can get in to do their shabang!
I have to say i was so happy today i nearly cried, its like shes herby and she tried to come home to her mummy!!!! I dont know what state shes in yet as the police wont let me see her until forensics have done their bit. they say she doesnt look damaged though, but we will see!!!

how are thiefs breaking in to peoples houses?? are people not deadlocking doors and being opened from the inside??
my neighbour was robbed like this at the beginning of the year.. broke in to his house got his car keys.. filled his car up with his belongings tv,dvd etc then managed to wake my neighbour up who was screaming in the street in his boxers while they drove off in his car with his stuff....
