was speaking to a alarm fitter about a clifford 650 system with dual proximity sensors, but he mentioned to me about the viper 480 system which is exactly the same but with a pager to tell you the alarm is going off?

My clifford has been fitted on the car 6 years, ive owned it a while now and not had one single issue.

As a rule if you get it fitted by a clifford installer you wont have any problems.

Viper, Clifford and Hornet are all made by the same company I believe. I have a hornet on my DC5 and its been ok, but will be putting a Toad on it in place (some functions I want arent available on the hornet)

I had a Clifford which was installed by a Clifford Installer and it was the most temperamental and over sensitive piece of crap ever, first and last clifford

I would also use Toad simply because I've never had issues with them
