Well,
I bought a Escort Cossie car cover off a user called Gareth589, paid £130 directly into his bank account at the end of april. Had a few pm's off him saying sorry it had taken so long to post etc, so I replied no problems not in a rush for it.

I left it a few weeks, and contacted him again, to which I get no reply , so I ring his phone a few times, nothing, then try his home number, where who I assume was his wife/gf/mum answered and promised he would get back in touch. Got a text off him saying post office have lost it, and he will sort it, but now nothing has happened since. Won't answer the phone, won't respond to texts ... Anyone know this guy, hes from the Plymouth area I think?

Loosing my patience now, nearly 3 months is plenty of time to sort this out

 

I got done but had credit card company on my side to sort it out luckily.

 

all these Scammers on PF lately

 

seemed like a decent guy when he was on here.

wouldnt mind but he classed people on here as messers who took and interest in it but didnt want it. looks like the other way then maybe.
although there could be a good reason but to not get in contact is not on.

 

i had dealings with this guy and he was a total nightmare!

eventually got my cash back.

Martin and Mike both seemed to think he was ok tho?

 

Ah Yes....

He is a bit of a nightmare !!. I bought something off him, was happy to take my
money, but then i had to get the part from martin as his car was there.

Just seem like he cant be assed to do anything and would rather someone esle did it !.

I almost bought that cover.. glad i didn't by the sounds of it
