Default What hose for a T34?

Fitting a T34 to my 2 wheel drive sapphire but I know that the inlet hose needs to be a bigger size. I run the standard airbox on my car so what pipe do I need? I've not collected the T34 yet so I don't know what dia the inlet is

the inlet @ the turbo is 70mm, airbox needs some fiddling because standard size is 64mm i believe

not sure, i have a cone

iirc you will need to slide a inch of your existing hose in the end as a spacer, and jubilee clip it

Turbo - 2wd airbox = Ł35.00 posted
Turbo - pace cooler = Ł50 posted

Silicon hoses squish up well under a jubilee clip, you can put a hose that's "too big" and it'll seal fine if you do it good and tight.

Got an old Fast Ford here and can't find anything. Might have to call Roose tomorrow but this is turning into a mightmare.

deff call roose as he can make you a pipe that goes from t34 70mm and the end will be made to shrink down to a airbox anysize !

Next question, on a stage 3 how much difference would I see between a t34.48 and a t34.63? Bought a t34.63 but it turned out to be a .48

when i installed my t34 (amongst other bits) i forgot to order a 70mm hose. And trackday was coming up in 2days... Went out to the local carparts shop. Came out with a black 70mm 90degree Gates hose cut it down to the right length.... and actually still happy enough with it not buy a 'real' one. And costed only about a big tenner.

Patsy Palmer:- firstly where are you getting the turbo from as some T34 had a machined insert replacing the 70mm inlet for people putting them onto 2wd so people could still use there standard hoses

I bought the turbo from someone on here. I left it at home this morning so I can't measure it I'm certain it's still bigger than the T3 inlet though so I guess it's standard.

stupid idea if you ask me..why not just get the rigt hose that fits in the first place?
