On standard wheels and standard ride height does anyone know the inner clearance b/w wheel and shock tower?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I do not knopw this measurement, but do know when I had std shocks, there was only a tiny clearance between tyre and spring platform, so small I could not get my finger in the gap, just about squeezed my little finger in there.
I could measure the gap but I have coilovers so would not be accurate to std shocks ?
This was with std wheels(lattice) and 205/50x15.

Yes please clearance to coilover and spring diameter would be great.
Also offset and width of wheel/tyre if not standard.
Thanks mate.

Wheels are standard 7J X 15, with ET of 40, as printed on the side of the wheel.
They are the 2wd sapphire cossie LATTICE alloys .
The springs on my cossie are 2 1/4" diametre coilover springs, fronts are 300lb 9" long, rears are 200lb 12" long.
I put my steering on full lock, and you cannot even get your finger, between the rim/tyre and the spring, I was VERY surprised.
Hope this helps.
