Default Which is stronger - Cosworth or TVR T5 Gearbox

As per title....

Also what would these ratios equate to speedwise with a normal cosworth engine limiter running 205x40x17 tyres & standard 7.5" diff. How do the ratios compare to a standard cossie box?

1st - 2.95:1
2nd - 1.95:1
3rd - 1.34:1
4th - 1.00
5th - 0:80:1

How would you even fit it?
The gear lever would be in the heater box, well almost ?

i believe the TVR box is stronger.

thats what i have for the mk.2 Lee.

it can take about 100lbs more torque than the cosworth T5,so Marco tells me.

it will fit no problem aswell.

Interesting ....

The gearstick on the standard T5 didnt fit in the original hole anyway so I was going to have to modify it anyway - nothing that a bit of extending & adapting wont solve.

What did you do about the spigot bearing Dave??? Can you buy a TVR one (will it work with a cossie pressure plate) or did you get the box part machined?
