I recorded it off BBC HD(about 113GB) but i also have it on blu-ray. Not the best HD but it is very good.

Graham, its supposed to be the best encoded blu-ray!

What would you say is the best encoding on a programme/film?

The Pirates of the Caribbean films have very very good picture quality but don't quite have the same impact because they don't fill a 16:9 screen, as with most films.

I've seen compression artifacts in Planet Earth blu-ray but they can show up easily on an 88" screen.

depends on the model of the screen.

All blu-ray films are 1080p regardless, DVD's can be anything.

Found it for 37.50 delivered on BD
