Someone ran into my gf's Ka on sat. night outside the house, I actually saw it happen but due to being drunk and the fact it was snowing I didn't get the plate, to cut a long story short I think I know where i might find the car but I'd like to know for sure it's from the car i think it is....

 

if anyone can tell what car it is from that they need to get out more.

Yeah sorry i'll get a better one, it's just from my phone, yeah i think it's part of a bumper, car must've been pretty badly damaged as there was part of a light on the road and her car needs a new bumper and light.

 

Ok i didn't want it to be biased, i "think" it could be a focus, but i don't want to put words in anyone's mouth.

 

why dont you go to what car you think its from and see if it is

 

well why dont you look for said car and you should be able to spot missing trim and smashed light?

And yes it could be a focus. You cant see it properly in my sig but thats more or less what my bottom splitter looks like

Ok, looks like i'll have to elaborate a bit more then, neighbour was having a party and there was loads of people over, I'm convinced it's someone he knows that was leaving, I have been through twice and he denies any knowledge of it, he said he would ask everyone that was there, but that didn't get me anywhere, i looked out the window earlier and i'm sure the car i saw was there, can't have been there long as I was in the house for about 5 mins and it wasn't there when i came in, anyway by the time i'd gone to do something in the kitchen for two mins and came back it had gone AGAIN!!!!!

It looks kind of like the rubber strip that was on the bottom of the wife's front bumper on her old Mk6 Escort - not a splitter, just a bit of trim around the bottom edge that fell off all by itself one day.

I can't believe you are having this conversation....

 

When the splitter fell of our old focus, it never had the sliver/chrome lip at the top. So I doubt it's a focus.
