Does anyone know whose the red Lamborghini Countach was at the Croft RSOC show last year? I took a video of it doing a 0-60 run and 90% of people who have seen it have said it's fake but I don't think it is having seen other Anniversary editions which look identical, some with and some without the big rear spoiler wing.

Would be interested to see if the owner was on here!

 

I don't know that particular car (with a pic or reg number), but people thinking it is a fake, is possible the biggest single drawback of Countach ownership...

 

Yea, it seems the Countach is probably one of the most faked supercars there has ever been (AC Cobra aside probably!). There seem to be so many "experts" that dismiss them as fakes but don't detail why it's fake. This one looked and sounded real to me!

If thats the car and it being on a F plate it defo a fake as the real ones are nigh on 35 years old now. As were brought out the year i was born 1971.

They did make the 25th Anniversary in 1988/89. The first UK cars were on a F plate. Although not the best video, I have to say that looks like a genuine car. I am also fairly sure that car is currently for sale.

Incorrect. The last Countach's were the Anniversary (assuming the car in question is) and there are 'G' platers about. The last QV5000 Quattrovalvole's were launced in 1988 on the 'E' and the first one in the UK was a dark blue example without a rear wing. Brought from new by a guy called Keith Downs who is in Sevenoaks.

I think it's 0-60 time was 5.7seconds which considering how bad the clutch was wasn't too bad, it's probably lost a second to that which would be about right I think.
