Stu gave us a ring and asked for his new toy to be cleaned, so this morning we turned up at MSD to find what was a really nice M5 and wasnt that bad to start off with, the leather was a little dirty and it stank of cigarettes, the whole car was covered in road tar aswell.
set off to work on it firstly going round the car with traffic film remover under the bonnet (which was particularly dirty and had the usual bmw glue runs
) then the wheels and arches, ander the skirts, and in all door edges, hinges, and boot edge.

No wheel acid was used on the wheels due to the "shadow chrome" paint finish on them.
We then washed the car using diamondbrite car shampoo with a lambswool mitt, and then chamois leathered the car with two leathers, one for bodywork, one for door edges and wheels.

i then used tar and glue remover under the bonnet to remove the gunk and grime that had collected under there.
i had to clay the rear bumper as there were a lot of deposits of tar there, everything came off and the glass type finish was achieved

all the leather was cleaned with diamondbrite upholstery cleaner, and the interior was detailed, sorry for the lack and the quality of the pictures, we had a lot to do in a small time plus my phone battery was dying
the end result:

We also did kenny's Focus ST:

and then my battery died
had a good time there, nice lads, cheers for the brews stu!
and to the owner of this:

this is a true credit to you mate, love it

As soon as I get it back it's getting the same treatment as Stu's as I realised theres a few scratches here and there off my car cover
Top work on Stu's car, looks stunning

The boys did an EXCELLENT job of the car. Firsdt time ive ever used a valeter to be honest, and i was sceptical, but now im happy.
I bought the plate with the car as an investment and one which has paid off nicely as i just got my valuation back... Its doesnt JUST say BMW if you read it right...

Naturally she will get a remap to free up another 25bhp or so on super+ and remove the limiter, and i may have a tweak of the gear maps to release some more power in 2nd, as i recall the map only allows full power in 3rd onwards... Sensible air filters and bushes are on the way as are some better pads for the brakes.
