I think it's Ł5, but it's worth it for me, as I love putting pics up. Small price to pay really.

 

It means a lot of people have been viewing your pics or your pics are huuuuge in filesize.

e.g. one 25K picture viewed four times uses 100k of bandwidth (amount of data transferred) bandwidth costs money, so it's limited on PB to prevent the provider incurring huuuuge costs.

I went to contribute but couldn't find the contribute button All I coudl find was a subscribe button wich is $25 for a year or $9 for 3 months

Thrush, you can either donate (I guess you choose how much) or the more recently (I think) option is to upgrade from a free account, which is $25 per year.
