was up about 4am playing it lastnight, and i played it for about 2 hours today.. realistic little game! need a steering wheel & pedals (and a faster pc) and i'll be jamming!

I don't play games but this one is the biz!

i've been in the RWD car, can't reallt handle it too well using keys... hence the fact i'm going to get a logitech forcefeedback wheel tomorrow!

It's a mint game.. i 'bought' the key, it's only Ł12 but you can race other tracks/cars online.

Cheapest and best game ever! 10/10!!

XRGT Turbo for me all the way tho, im shit in the caterham type cars and i dont like the 4x4/FWD cars...

the little go-kart thing is THE TITS tho... tops out at like 60mph but gets there FECKIN QUICK

i got my wheel/pedals today ... much better control, and force feedback's a good laugh!

i'm working tonight, and the next 5 nights so i just have to play the familiar foreigners when i get in at around 1:30am they always beat me though.

 

force feedback is great on LFS!

tis handy coz you know its started to wheelspin/step the arse end out as the steering suddenly becomes all light! lol

my sidewinder wheel is VERY strong too, so the wheel really does grab at you strong when you tankslap it too (just like realife) not just some pussy vibration like you get on "rumble pack" type forcefeedback

aye my FF is set at 100%.. but i can adjust the force above or below but it does give you a fair kick .. might try it up full blast later!

i've downlaod the games
unziped it.
when i run the he lfs.exe file

i get a window error message and then it don't load

i've download the lastest directx

Any one have a clue what it could be

Need some help with the graphics side of this game! I've only got 128mb memory and when i try to play it the screens rate jumps all over the place and when it eventually catches up im in the kitty litter Can somebody tell me what to set all the graphics options to so that i can play the game without sacrificing (spelling)????

 

Plus i think my car needs some btter tyres and not the colway remoulds it has on as it understeers like a pig!!! or that could be me leaving the braking far too late!!!

 

i've got a crappy P3 850mhz laptop with 128Mb RAM and an Intel Graphics card so i ain't running a particularly fast machine. I'm running the game at 1400x1050 16Bit and it runs fine but i've put most of the graphics to Simple or disabled..

Play with the Multitexturing, and Halfsize texture settings, they make a big difference. Also turn the LOD down a tad to get rid of most of the graphics far over the horizon that you don't need!

I plan to try it on the TV using 640x480 to see if it's any faster, and i'm gonna get another 256Mb ram coz my comp is slow too

 

carl, run with all the gfx options to low or off and set the resolution to no higher than 800x600 (16bit)

 

So where do i set the graphics res up?? on my machine or in the game? hafajoab are you talking about the in game graphics set up when you say "i've put most of the graphics to simple or disabled"???

yes, ingame graphics

lfs tweek is cool, but you end up witha 2000bhp car that hits 300+mph on the straights but you have to start breaking about 1 mile away from the corners!

 

plus you end up goin sideways in 10th gear! at 200mph lol
