Mike - It's not Ross'. I can't really say whose it is until I have at least linked the videos to him!!

Ricky, I couldn't see the comment even though I got a mail saying there was one? The breather system was built by us and the rocker cover has been drilled and fitted with -10 Aeroquip.

Euan, not had a chance to take the graphs off yet, but I will do and post them to show you. You should see the boost curve!!

Just running 1 breather from the back then, have you monitored it?

I want to see the boost curve also. What does it peak at?

Via the wonders of modern technology, I have been into the Dyno software from home and sorted some graphs!!

 

BTW, Gary's has two -10 Breathers, so does Ross' (the other 700bhp Evo we had alot to do with), however, we didn't build the engine in the one above, but did put an awful lot of work/love etc into making it all what it is today.

 

what does it make below 4750?

 

We start the run late with the turbo partially spooled. It's pointless showing the earlier bit.

That car is on pump-fuel and looks like it might be the most powerful GT35'd 2.0 Evo in the UK.

It's not for the faint-hearted. There's ALOT more to consider other than the engine and turbo.

Awesome work, who did the head work and what cam's are used?

I have a GT35, on a 2.3 stroker. I'm currently getting high crank case pressures, so the stock breather system is something i'm going to be sorting in this coming week. I don't think 2 5mm breathers cut's it running a Gt35 on 2 bar+.

504 on race fuel is awesome!

What gearbox and rear diff is been used?

I'm with you I think. Its the bit of the graph i wanted to look at.

It must come on boost pretty early tho, not sure if it will be as early on the road. but full boost by 4750 is respectable on a 2litre with a gt35 IMO. But if you look at the graph it looks like its JUST hit full boost on a pretty steep boost curve. Things will probably start at about 4250?

 

with dyno having a quick ramp rate starting a run on a car with big turbo shows it very laggy but we try and pull some boost on dyno before starting run

if you want to show how laggy a car is you really need to run it very slowly like how ava do but need some good cooling,we can do this but normally only run up to pick torque

 

Gary rather than trying to complete a run in one go why no slow the ramp rate and take it a bit at a time?

 

cant be done with that dyno mate,to get a flywheel figure the ramp rate is preset

doesnt cause us a problem but i could have started the run slightly earlier but them graphs are from the mapping and i never did one that started slightly earlier
