they are great
but the seat i've got goes from 9 months up to 12 years so if you have a smaller baby you will need to get a rear facing seat first

i'll get a name and some pics up when i get home, but they are proper ace seats with plenty of padding and simple fixings too

with the added bonus of having the padding removable so that you can go from around the 4 year mark right up to the limit in the same seat

halfords and mothercare seem to do the best selection of seats and they are the most accessable, unles you have a mama's and papa's near you

Has your car got Isofix mountings ?

I have got a mint Young Profi Plus for sale in the same colour as Chops with the isofix base, you leave the base fixed in the car and just plug the seat in when you go out....

I've got a Young Sport and my 2.5 year old hates it.
Vision is way too restricted - yes it's very safe, but you have to have a 10 minute tantrum to pin the kid in there!

I guess it's partly my own falt because we have 2 differenmt seats for 2 different cars - as I didn't want to keep swapping the seats over.

I'm sure if she didn't know the much cheaper and more open seat existed, she'd be perfectly happy with the Recaro... That said, the other one reclines and the Recaro doesn't...

i've got the one thats in rentons pic
yes visablilty is resctricted but it also saved your kids face if someone tbones you

always think of the worst case scenario and think that kids never like things that are safe for them

junior loves the seat as he knows we are going out, and with the added bonus that if he falls asleep he can rest his head on the side and we don't have to worry

I bought one about 4 years ago. It was all leather and was reduced to Ł30.00 as it was the display model. Still have it in the loft I think.

not the newborn one i may add but the stage 1 car seat, there were better reviews for other seats, especially in the comfort section, seeing as the recaro one doesnt recline

dovboy
that's the exact same one we've got

just don't let them drop any sort of liquid onto it as it's a bit of a bugger to clean

We've got 1 of the little seats and 3 (grannies got 1 each)of the big uns, the little seat is good but when our first daughter got bigger and taller, she still wasnt heavy enough to go into the bigger seat the carry handle kept jumping out of the locking position. not good. Would still say they are good comfy SAFE seats.
