fucking pop ups already i dont fucking want, loads of crap from anti virus warning me of everything in the world

i bought fucking norton with this thing just to avoid it

knew i should have bought another fucking mac

 

Get rid of the shitty norton and install the free AVG 7.5 with automatic updates............... maybe install ad-aware and run a scan (also free)...... norton IMO is utter wank................ lets all sorts of nasties through right under its nose

 

Yeah I use AVG 7.5 and CCcleaner. They are the best.
What version of Windows are you using?

I dont even use anti-virus. No point really. I trust the sites I go on and dont install shit loads of pointless crap that many people do.

^^^ What he says.... Norton is crap, it will slow your PC down too and getting rid of it totally off your machine won't be easy either.

After using AVG for years, I switched over to AVAST a couple of years ago and found it even better than AVG

 

Would recommend Avast too.

 

i bought norton 360,,,,, but i feel it IS slowing it down

i can see me giving this PC pack and getting a 24ins mac desktop that i cant afford,,,,,,, ironic cause when i first got the mac i HATED it and missed windows

 

WIPE IT mate to start with , obviously saving all the stuff you want to keep first

then reinstall it and put Avast on , you get daily updates and its completely free!

I had it on good advice that Norton use to be the dogs danglies 3-4 years ago , but now a days its just plain pants

buy a mac, much better imo
and i dont use any sites on my laptop i use for home apart from here and ebay, so dont have antivirus, much prefer the mac in my office though

i got a mac g4 powerbook,, just fancyed getting a new computer as it matched my new tv

you dont realise how good macs are until you go back to PC's
