Evening All, I’m James from the Ford Focus Owners Club,

Right, this is a message to let you all know about a new event which we are organising. The website is still under construction, but we are trying to get as much interest as possible. The forum is fully functional, so please register your interest there (www.scumfordrally.co.uk/forum/).

It’s called the ScumFord Rally (www.scumfordrally.co.uk)... The idea is to drive from England to the Nürburgring in Germany... So what’s scum about that I hear you say... well here’s the trick, you must have a FORD, which costs less the 600 to buy, and you cannot spend anymore the £400 on modifications to the car or making it road worthy (must have tax and mot), so no more than £1000 on the road.

This is not a race of any type; this is more of a party convoy.
The event will be approximately a week long, and we expect the cost of all the accommodation, travel and track fees to be around £500+ per team (aprox price for 2 people in a team)

We expect to be holding this event late June, early July 2008.

So far we have two team’s:
Team 1 – Jamz & Elude – Mondeo ST24
Team 2 – TheLight, NorthEastFocus, Dru_Tdci – Escort Cab?
