hi am thinking a bout putting a red top turbo lump in a 51reg corsa has any one on here done it before and wats the hardest part of doing it any info would be great ...thanks

 

Corsa C shape I take it? (ie not the original shape that replaced the nova?)

Not that trivial a job, it goes into the B really easy, but the C you have to start messing around retaining the original ECU to run the clocks etc as its all integrated on a CANBUS system.

A Z20LET motor might be simpler, but Ive not done a Corsa C so havent got an direct experience like I have with the B and the Nova.

Not got any info on the conversion but if you want it to be worth anything in terms of resale then i go with the z20 let,

I personally wouldn't buy a new ish car with an old engine plus from what i've seen with the z20's you won't go far wrong tuning wise either.

 

a lad i know has a 2ltr red top turbo in his corsa c. im sure it wasnt that hard he said, ill try & find out for ya though.
