right i have this car that has cosworth mangments fitted to it wount start thers no spark or fuel now its go a l8 ecu and has had the 4 pick up welded to the pully in the right place the distrubutor is also the same and has been done now i want to no what powers the ecu i have a plug with lots of different wires and ther is a black wire i am told its a ignition live and i also have a wire red with a blue witch is a power wire and as for the earth i take it the only earth for it is the ones on the inlet manifold and why is it that even with out cranking it over it sparking from the coil lead any pointers info /help would be grate thanks

 

ihad this problem on my sierra when i forst put a loom in the coil would spark all the time

turned out to be a faulty loom

 

Im sure the ECU is earthed somehow/someway where it bolts in on a sierra, might be wrong tho

 

why bother fitting an l8 to it when you could fit gotech or m/s or something like that for alot less hassle...
