i was so close to getting 1 until i realised you had to cool the beer in the fridge first and from what i ca make out once the keg is in you cant take it out to cool it.again so unless you drink 8 pints everynight or like warm beer it seems useless to me..

yeah just read you need to keep it chilled so a seperate beer/keg fridge in the garage is needed (ah yeah i already got one of them!!!
). You can remove the keg though half way through so long as it stays refridgerated!!!!

searched for ages on the websites to try n find this out a couple of weeks ago..think im gunna go get one then
thats great until you have 4-5 mates round and you are having to change the keg constantly, and allowing the beer to settle each time between swapping kegs, great if you ont have many friends and if you dont drink much
My mate bought his bro one for his birthday last week, so we used it for the grand prix - was a damn good pint!
The only annoying thing is the machine can be quite noisy if you switch it on the colder of the two settings.
But at 1.55 a pint that's a shed load cheaper than 2.90 for a Carlsberg in my pub!

but you have to buy a meal to get it and they charge 1.50 during that hour for the ale of choice, usually something Ive never heard off but it often tastes ok

I would rather go the pub and pay 2 pound summat for a pint that doesnt taste like a golden shower.

you can buy the philips machine.
For that you can get different kegs, leffe, stella, some dutch beers and some german beers.
Oh yeah, still more expensive then bottled beer though
