It good kit. I have a V2.2 its the older and bigger ecu. Look on the MS site www.msefi.com Its not a simple fit kit, but with a bit of reading and testing it works ok. One downside is the lack on base maps. But if fitted with a wideband or narrowband (limited) the system can self learn a rough base map.
Going to be fitting One on my BOB power sierra soon.

i looked into this as well but was told to stick to the 2.2 or the 3 by a bloke that maps these as the v2.5 is not actually assembled by megasquirt but by mtech or someone like that and it is wired up slightly different to the conventional 2.2 or 3
plus all the extras add ons are not as good as they sound as they dont work 100% they are basically a poor mans management more sorted to a kit car for example and was told to stick to my ford edis management as more people know about them it is more reliable and easier to fix
so i have been told

The eBay listing was a toe in the water, before it is launched formaly latter in the year...
It is basicly a smaller foot print, V2.2, in a waterproof case, useing an automotive ECU Connector plug and Socket, AMP Seal.
We have had over 400 MegaSquirt ECU's though our workshop in the last Two Years, and this is the best Meagsquirt variant we have seen, and uses the tried and and tested Ford EDIS system, which rarely gives the AA man a problem.
For more info go to www.mtechautomotive.co.uk
The on-line quotation service will quickly show if your car is suitable, and how much it will cost, including all Option, Upgrades.
NB We will upgrade or repair ANY derived Megasquirt product.
If it was built by Mtech it will be done free of charge, as will still be under our TWO YEAR WARRENTY (Transferable)
Alternativly you could just give us a call and ask for Matt...
For base map requests, go to www.megasquirtmaps.com and post a request...
