|Do the exterior first... Needs either turbo/2i or si bumpers..

What litre car is it?
Just wondering why you waste money on big brakes when not needed.

But looks very very clean.

are they 14's i take it, if so, then yeh go with 185 / 55 same as rs turbo;s
quite suprised they rub tho, as 15's go on ok with no prob and 15, would tend to run 195/45's.

But id def opt for the pad and disk change first before sheding out all that money on cossie breaks.

if you were going to get better breaks, ive been told on fiestaturbo.com that Zetec-s breaks go straight on, and you could just get a slighly bigger disk from say a st170 maybe.

yea i changed the disc and pads when i brought it but still a bit crap was thinking of bleeding them up. as i changed brake fluid in the bottle and it was just black lol.
what sort of money are the zetec s brakes
the wheels are 195 55 15s but with smaller tyres they should be sweet the 195`s stick out to much.

They wont stick out as much if you later on put the arches on.
try 195/45/15 tyres, they pretty much standard size with 15" wheels.
and stick a 5mm spacer in for that little bit extra clearence.

But with the Kit on as i said, if you are going to go down that route, the wheels wouldnt stick out as much.

Oh and Zetec-s brake you will prob pick up for Ł50-Ł100 where as you would prob pay double that for the cossie ones and have to get a custom bracket for the carrier to go on, which can work out about Ł70 just for the brackets.

thanks jessie, not looking bad for a 1.8 smoker. lol
Bit pants when you put your foot down and dont go no where. but its meant for a run-around, just wanted to look half decent.

def the way to go tho, with the 2i kit on a mk3.5 most 3.5 are in so much better cond than mk3's.

just keep trawling ebay m8, type in fiesta and go through all the car parts. you may even get a few bargains on the kit and rear bumper and front bumper if without lights. there pretty much the only things in big demand at the mo.

the parts are cheap enough, so if you have an accident, you just dont declare it when you phone em, just say you need to replace the standard bumper, but to be fair, would you bother phoning the insurance for a Ł50 bumper.
your well clever mate!

just take into consideration that insurance isnt only for yourself, its for the 3rd party and insuring your car like you do is more than likely invalidating your insurance and may leave you in a LOT of bother should something happen!

agreed, but your missing the point, what happens if you seriously injure someone, where does your 3rd party liability come from if your insurers void your insurance?
