is there any difference between the 2i 16v inlet manifold and the RS1800 one apart from the throttle bodies (possibly injectors). I suppose what im trying to get at is, does one flow better than the other ? or is it mainly the throttle body that is the difference?

The ports are larger on the RS1800 item

 

The Rover Turbo inlet is the best option, needs an adapter plate though. The inlet on the ZETEC is rubbish, designed in a rush and therefore bodged.

 

Do you know if they flow MUCH better? Ive got an efi inlet from an 1800 escort which I was going to be using for my turbo conversion but have the bigger throttle body that I was going to use, do you know if the 1800 escort inlet would be seriously restricting me ?, or is it not much to worry about?

Not compared the two but my mates old FRST ran 316bhp through his RS1800 fanimold so they can't be that bad a piece of equipment.
