started it last summer got all the welding done in a week just got round to fitting the engine last week

got dash carpet and new screen in since those pics

sorry boys and girls been busy on the escort so aint posted for a few days

ive got a 24v cossie to fit when i find a cheap t5 box to fit near by so if you have one in the leicester area im there lol just fitted the 2.0 to mock up and get mot

had the car for about 4 years with the intention of doing it straight the way then i started it last summer and lost interestim trying againlol

got 6 point cage fitted door bars and harness bar
5 point harnesses and cobra buckets
bias pedal box
coil overs
and steelies lol
i will updade pics after weekend

I'm going to be putting a sierra floor in my mk1 escort soon. Where did you join the shell to the floor? Are the sierra inner sills still there?

 

may well do that mate we will see, v6 might be too heavy so im keeping my options open
i really wanna put the 24v v6 in my tranny van, its only got a 12v 2.9 in it at the minute need more towing power

no mate, you trim the floor to the width you need then weld L section steel to the trimmed edge of the floor then weld that to the steel

How have you altered the wheelbase then and where is the original escort cut away and where is the sierra joined to it? Would like to do a bit of research before attacking 2 cars with a grinder and a welder, lol.
