So called football fans....
For goodness sakes, if you cant accept losing then DONT go to any foootball matches
I'm sorry but i really have to get this off my chest. WOLVES (my town) v WEST BROM today.
I am NOT, ever been or will be a football lover/supporter ever in my home town as it doesnt interest me one iota. Serioulsy.
So today, after the match i hear on the news that the police helicopter is out, riots outside of the ground, staff at Asda oposite the ground being abused verbally.........and these are FANS????
I'm sorry but you dont see this in Golf, Formula 1 or almost any other sport. Why football. Its wrong, immoral and puts innocent people at risk
Rant over.

it all kicked off then, not a big surprise tbh
you cant compare football fans to other sports imo as its a working class game where the fans are mainly working class. these things happen im afraid. and it will never stop

no there is no need for it but at the same time theres a bitter rivalry between the 2 sets of supporters. and no matter what happens it is likely to happen. as its happened outside the ground tho it might not be the "real" supporters and actually the hooligan fans of each club who more than likely wouldnt have tickets for the match and just turned up for a ruck
This happened after Celtic won the title at Kilmarnock a couple of weeks back.

Bearing in mind they won the game, and had just won the league, they are still jakey, rotten, inbred junkie scumbags, and tear the place up? Cocks.

The majority of the country is working class, which by natural logic says that the majority of sports fans of any sport, be it F1, Rally, BTCC, cricket, tennis, etc are working class. It's not like it's a "cheap" sport either - you can go to the Silverstone Grand Prix for the same price, if not less than a footy game (I am not a footy fan, but some of the guys are, so I only know what premiership games cost like Man U games or Spurs, Arsenal etc, no idea what the crapper teams games cost mind) - same with Cricket at Lords, or tennis at Wimbledon, or Rugby at Twickenham....
So using the "escuse" of being working class is bollocks. And how is it an excuse anyway? "ooh, look at them fighting - discgracefull" "Don't worry, they are working class" "oh, thats okay then"

its not an excuse at all. its merely a point of view. rugby union is not working class, rugby league is.
tennis is a sport enjoyed by mainly "posh" people. strwberry's and cream and pimms and all that. cant see the council estates scumbags digging all that can you.
this is what makes football interesting .just like the old days before they turned it into a 'family' sport
in the old days though it was kept 'in house' and innocent peole didnt get caught up in it.

But I doubt very much you actually belive that working class people don't go to Rugby Union matches? And there aren't any working class people at Wimbledon?
I don't think it's got anything to do with what "class" of society goes to sporting events - I think it's got to do with a selection of fans that don't actually go for the footbal, but actually to have a fight. Maybe these guys are working class, maybe they aren't - personally don't think it's got anything to do with it. My mates are working class and go to a lot of footy matches, but they never start fights.... I think it's more to do with people specifically going to football matches to get in a fight - same as the cocks that do it in pubs...

rugby surprises me that it doesnt have violence tho as its a brutal game. it proves the saying right. "football is a gentlemans game played by hooligans and rugby is a hooligans game played by gentlemen"
maybe its not a class thing but thats how i feel it is, not the complete answer to it all but i think its got a lot to do with it. definitely not something that should be associated with the game but it happens. the game today was actually a great game of football to watch but will probably now be remembered for the wrong reasons
Football, played by gentlemen watched by animals
Rugby, played by animals watched by gentlemen
Football is watched by thugs, hooligans and knobheads basically.....which spoil it for the many genuine fans

Can you fuck
Problem is with football that untill the shite reffing is sorted out like it was in rugby there will always be stuff to argue over
Some people go for a footy ruck 'for the buzz', They will follow their team but the only match that really matters to them is against the opposition supporters, On the pitch results dont matter, Turning over the home firm in their own backyard does.
These generally ruck with their own kind, and often pre arranged.
Then you get those who follow the team passionately, but for some strange reason think that an opposing supporter should be abused and possibly twatted, bear in mind these will only do it if theyve got backup or a bellyfull of lager.

I can get you a very good seat at the Emirates to watch Arsenal for £40.
Grand Prix is what? £85? Lords for the test will be £28-£40 per day for 5 days, or about £35 for an ODI in the most basic seats.
At lower leagues, I saw several games a few years ago at Championship clubs for £10.
