Default What size disks

Alright fellas,

MAnaged to get my hands on some fuckin huge brembo 4 pot calipers off of a BMW B12 E38 6.0L v12 Alpina with 334mm disks standard!

Theyre going on my mk1 fiesta 4x4 cosworth project and I intend to use escos wheels......

So my question is whats the biggest disk you can get behind an escos wheel? i've been told 305, 315, 300 etc... all off of different people so I need some clarification.

Cheers Guys
Dan

as martin says
you need 8in calipers and then you will be able to JUST get 315's in there

brom managed to fit 315 discs and 8ins brembos inside my mondeo 16ins wheels

they measure 9 1/4 inch from the underside (point to point) if that makes any sense.

Can these calipers be fitted to 315 disks behind an escos wheel....

PLEASE SAY YES brackets not a problem as we have a machine shop at work and a guy who works for me is gonna do them on his lunches for some beer tokens.

OR i am open to a 315 brake setup in exchange for these calipers if anyone has a set to swap? They have good pads in them 10mm+ on all 4...they came off of abmw b12 alipine 6.0 V12 which has 334mm disks as standard so they must be good for some braking force and be suitable for some BIIIIG disks....

there gonna be too big mate

the calipers you want are off a fiat coupe 20v turbo

there 8ins and just about fit with 315's

if you want 330 mils then you gonna have to get hi-spec calipers as they seem to be less tall as such compared to the brembos

So you can get 330mm disks behind and escos rim with a Hi-Spec caliper? If you say yes these are for sale

erm

not sure tbh

but i know the hi-spec are shallower

but the only way to tell is to borrow a disc and test,,, warning though the wheel weights will need to be on the outside if somehow they did fit

btw the b12 calipes sound flash,,, but they aint all that the car was the main part and the brakes are average at best

yeah i know the brakes were average but average on a weighty car means they'd stop my little fiesta on a penny.....

what kind of money are they worth do you think? if im gonna have to get some 8 inch ones then I need then i'm gonna have to sell them.

Cheers
