Default Cossie head depth Q's and head cost query

What is the standard depth of a cossie head?
What is the minimum depth after skimming?

Had mine measured this am after coming off the car. It needs a skim but i think its a bit close already

How much does a cossie head go for anyway as i really dont have a clue. Would i get away with buying a totally bare head then use my valves?

Could i sell valves seperately if i buy a complete head? Do people buy second hand?

Luckily i know a man with a head so we might just need to agree a price

Its not the c/r you really need to worry about!!

Its the area around the valve seats! If you machine it down too much, there wont be enough material left for it to stay cool!
