Default question about mondeo clutch

ive just brought an 04 plate mondeo 130tdci from a dealer which on the day i brought it had a clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder fitted before i picked it up. I test drove the car and all was fine,i put it on my trailer and drove the 125 miles home to find that when i got there the clutch was no longer working. When i pumped it a few times it comes back to life a bit but its not as i should be. Obviously its a hydraulic clutch but does anyone know what the prob could be???...does it need to be bled and how do you do this. I personally reckon its the slave cylinder but are these inside the gearbox on the mondy.

Good thing is that i called the dealer and hes willing to pay for whatever it needs which is good but if its a quick fix ie bleeding system then i may do it myself.

on the top of the slave sticking out the gearbox, if you look to the left of the battery down at the gearbos you should be able to see it. it's 11mm i think and plastic nipple & thread in most cases so don't over tighten it whatever you do!

On some of the mondeos you have no nipple you have to bleed them by removing the pipe
