is worth polybushing the top struts?

is worth polybushing the top struts?
fitting my new konis his weekend all my car is polybushed apart from the top struts that sits ontop of the damper cups? is this worst getting done or not?

Yep worth getting done, or use 909 top mount bushes, I prefer them myself.

ok now to rear strut braces do they go across the struts in the boot? and is it best to get rose jointed?

Just use Escort Cosworth bushes, they look the same but a MUCH stiffer.

martin, are they? still available from fords i hope?
will use them instead of the 909 ones then if i cant get them.
obviously any new bush is going to be better than a 20yr old one

Last set I bought 909 were about 4 years ago!!
Roosie, just buy a bar of metal and drill a hole in each end then two longer bolts to go through the top mount holes job done for a few quid!
