hi to all , ok well here goes in jan-feb i was haveing trouble with leaking water ,so i took to bits and done the core plugs on the head exhaust side
then put back together an the was no leak from under car , but still loseing water, after a compresion test wich was all good, the was water in 3+4, so i took the head off , head gasket was broken in a few places but when i had a good look thismorning ,it has a wire rung block, however the was no wires in it????? can anny 1 give me anny info on this system were can i get some wires from? is it a standard size that is the same to all blocks or does it depend who done it? cheers gary

Depends on the depth of the groove, and when done as favourite used to be PIANO WIRE, but superceeded by more modern materials now and better sealing techniques materials.
