What sealant for 4x4 speedometer housing??

What sealant for 4x4 speedometer housing??

I have pulled of the intermidiate driveshaft housing cover (section 14B-11 of the cosworth service manual) of my speedometer from my cosworth 4x4 but I cannot get the sealant at Ford. They tell me I have to buy the whole housing!

Does somebody else have any idea what I can use as it looked like an O-ring to me. But the size is so big I cannot get it anywhere.

Will silicone sealer not do it.But let the silicone sealer dry.

The only place for SILICONE sealer is in the bin IMO.
Get some decent stuff LOCTITE 5910, don't need a gasket with this either, so long as you let it tack off first.
