Default PC Problem-Just Had This Come up.

Right was just now browsing away as you do,when this came up on the screen.

Restarted the PC via the power button and it's running fine now.

Blue Screen of Death, usually indicates a hardware address problem. Chances are it will be OK, but if it continues, you have a problem. LOL

I think just glitches in memory can cause them, could be a number of harware problems, not anything to worry about unless they happen frequently

That's what I'm thinking tbh mate, not had any problems with it recently apart from the powerpack.

Just finished my Adaware and got around 20 tracking cookies with a total of around 40ish items.I'm just hoping and thinking that'll do it.

Cheers for the help so far, keep the ideas coming. Just a pain in the arse as I wanted to go to bed and it happened.

Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).

I would check that your video card and ram are seated correctly

you said you had problems with the psu on it ?? have you changed it?? could be low voltage to the memory, i have found cheap psu's are a flase economy... add a couple of extra fans and it lowers the voltage elsewhere to make up for it...

What do you mean powerpack?

PSU = Power Supply Unit, that's the powerpack surely?

Didn't realise PSU was one of those.

My original powerpack gave up and would stop charging if you moved the cable got up etc.

Was wondering if thta doing that was power surging and caused the problem last night.

Got a new powerpack from batteryco.uk last week and it's fine now.Plus, the whole system is running fine now tonight.
