RAC for me.

My uncle drives for the local garage and they are greenflag. They do the AA work out of hours. He hasn't got anything good to say about the company. Service is generally shocking and their cover up here sucks. They pass work on to others.

I got told once when I was being towed home by an AA contractor to go with Green Flag as they have a set time to get to you (30mins-1hr iirc) and are rarely late apparently. This was on the way home after waiting 3hours for the bloke from AA to turn up! He was also "Out of his bounds" as AA got the wrong place where I was and he only came cause Id been waiting hours, so fair play to him

Been with AA 2 years and only have 1 recovery of the 5 free left till August

I'm with a company called First Call Breakdown. Not had to use them yet, so can't comment on their service. They appear good value for money.
Try www.moneysavingexpert.com for a comparison.

Have used the RAC and had some good experiences with them.
