Default Question for the BMW people............

Should be quite a few of you then

anyone know if the E36 3.2 evo engine (S52B32) will fit easily into a E36 4 cylinder shell, reason i ask it i ahd considerd an Yb conversion, but seems like lots more work, and i have the option of a cheap M52, and the hope that by keeping everything BMW it would be loads easier

Anyone know

cheers

it will drop straight in without much problems iirc from bmw site discussions although i have no experience personally although f your going to transplant an engine that you can already get in the e36 you might as well just buy one instead.be different and fit the cossie engine

took it to be RR'd at the BMW place next door to sanspeed when i 1st bought it. made bang on standard figures.

since then it's been serviced, and drives a lot nicer, so probably released a pony or two.

i reckon the engine will be cheaper than that, as my mate has a few of them, and needs space

Its the other things you will need to go with the engine

loom
ECU
rad
diff
brakes

It will add up to WAY more than a semi decent m3
