How the hell do you get at the bolts underneath? I have some of them off but I cant get at the central four, I've tried sockets and three different 13mm spanners. None of which will fit over the nuts because the manifold itself is in the way. Does the head need to come out to get at them?

ok just read the title, dough , i took mine off last week and cant rlly say i had too much trouble, i remember 1 bolt wich is quite difficult, and think i used loads of wd 40 so it turs easy wen you have loosened it , im sure i used a stubby spanner to get in under the middle 3, the back two or mabe 3 with an angle ajustment on. can be got with a socket as can the front two maybe 3, ,,,, i take it that you have the turbo and bottle neck off the manifold? gary

 

I was wondering as well given the title ?, you are getting as bad as me!!
They are a shit to get to the middle two, stubby spanner is best, although once loosened they normally turn by hand ?
