ECU Transducer??
I had my car RR'd today cos after 4500rpm the power would just fade away to nothing almost like i'd lifted off the pedal and i couldnt figure out why.
Amongst a few other things I was told that the transducer in the ingnition ECU (silver one) has gone and as a result the timing is about 10 degrees out when it reaches 4500rpm and so i need a new ECU.
What i need to know is:
Is the transducer the component in the ecu that the vacuum pipe goes onto?
and,
If so, can i get one from anywhere?
Otherwise I will have to get another standard ECU and fit my Ahmed Bayjoo chip into it, which looks fiddly!

Im pretty sure the transducer is the MAP sensor.
Its not going to be much easier to replace that tbh honest with you, both are going to need you to be confident at soldering.
Worst comes to worst im sure i could swap the chips over for you
