my mate has got a 1990 4x4 saph cos with a stage 1 chip cone filter running 16psi. The problem he is having is that it pulls well to about 4500 then the power dies tails off and starts feeling restricted. He thinks it might be the standard exhaust or the fact its 4x4 causing this or possibly runninhg a bit lean. Any help will be appreciated cheers

 

possibly the actuator needs changing!

 

tell him to go get it set up properly as it could be a whole host of things really!

its not missfiring or running bad just feels as though the power tails off at about 4500 but it still revs all the way to the redline

 

Power is all over on a T3 around 5200rpm.

 

thats why i have 27psi upto 5k
