water temps after GRS fitment. Turbo cooling.....
Uncle henrys thread has reminded me to ask!!
I was thinking of removing the coolant facility to the turbo. Reason being the fitment of the full front GRS. IMO this should keep the water cool enough without having to run constant fans/ or uprated radiator etc, but obviously my opnion isnt what matters cos i new to tuning shit.
All help appreciated

When i bought my turbo i specifically ordered a 'series one' turbo as it didnt have any water feed pipes on it anyway. you can however just block the pipes off and there wont be any probs. My water temps are considerably cooler than when i used to have a water fed turbo on the car!
Just make sure you let the turbo cool down/spin out for long enough before the engine is turned off!

hmmm, i'd be a bit wary, i thought, the S1 turbo allowed more oil to flow through the turbo to act as a cooling medium rather than as2 one and like nearly every other turbo ive seen, only ever seen no water feed on a s1, and some light pressure TD engines..
