Default Saff 4x4 and 2wd brakes

What are the differences?

I'm thinking of uprating mine for the summer.

The rears on the 4x4 are vented and therefore plan to get the relevant callipers, discs/pads, and put all them on with a new handbrake cable.

Are the handbrake cables the same for 2wd and 4x4 ?

Also, the front discs on the 4x4 have a different , offset, so to speak than the 2wd, so the discs aren't interchangable ...

...but what about the callipers, are they offset as well?

Are the callipers from 4wd and 2wd the same or different?

just some questions

Ill go order some new brakes once someone with knowledge has replied with the right answers.

Oh and I'm not after any big brake set ups this year, just standard sizes, just uprated. cheers.

Calipers are different mate, 2WD runs 4-pots, whereas 4WD are single piston

If you are talking 4x4 cossie and 2wd cossie.
The 2wd(all) use 283mmx24mm discs with offset of 55mm.
The 4x4(all) uses 278mmx24mm with offset of 36mm.
These are the fronts.
The rears are 2wd 253mmx11mm with offset of 34mm.
The 4x4 are 273mmx20mm with offset of 43mm.
Handbrake cable the same on 2+4 wd.
Esc cos uses the same as 4x4 sierra brake wise.
2wd uses four pot calipers front sinlge piston sliding caliper rear.
4wd uses single piston sliding caliper front as well as rear.
I think that if you want to fit 2wd four pots on a 4x4 cos they go straight on after tapping hole in hub lug which locates it, may need just one 1mm spacer to line up perfect.
They defo go straight on a non cos 2wd as I have done this myself as above.

ps I got this info from a brake book but am 99% sure 2wd rear is 273mm x11mm

CHeers on the front set up,

so going by those figures, I would have to match a pair of 4x4 rear callipers with discs and see if they sit together?

4x4 rear discs/calipers are a straight swap for the 2wd rear discs/calipers

Straight swap as jon@work says for 2wd ones.
