Default norton antivirus

my norton antivirus runs out soon and i dont want to renew i am going for avg free do i need to get rid of norton and if so how thanks

This is NOT correct...Norton no longer ship with a uninstall routine and this has to be downloaded from the homepage... the link for this is below

Go into control panel, then add/remoe programs and then click change/remove next to norton antivirus. It will require a restart tho.

If you reinstall you get another year

As above, but combine both posts and thats the correct/full way of uninstalling norton(add/remove uninstall, then download that thing from the website, that will fully remove norton)

You made a great choice by the way, you will find your pc runs much faster without norton
