Default Cosworth phase sensor - anyone changed one?

It's been suggested that my misfire problem might be due to the phase sensor in my distributor.

Has anyone changed one before?

If so what is involved and how hard is it to do?

Thanks

You don't need to remove the dizzy?

What was yours doing before you changed it?

Thanks

I'll take my distributor cap off tonight and have a look at it

We plugged a code reader into my car a few weeks ago and it couldn't see the ecu.

It's only an intermittent thing.

Phase sensor gap is 0.2mm to 0.3mm.

Blimey that's a small gap How do you do it please? Is it just a case of tightening it down once gapped? I have no idea

As above and then rotate around to the next cam and check that too.......

But ensure you have the engine in the right position in the first place relative the the crank.
Then you can take it out, fit the new and gap as above.......

That sounds easy. Is there a timing mark on the crank pulley that you can use to get the engine in the right position?

Thanks
