i am sorting a few problems and sorting a cosworth out at the moment and inside the car there is a little car..

anyway when a door is open this is shown on the little car and when the door is closed the light goes off.

The boot is permantly on. Any Help as it driving me insane

 

Have a look inside the boot lid next to the latch and work out what contact makes it go on and off. Mine was doing this, just bent it slightly and it sorted it. Cant remember off the top of my head which bit it was but it only took a couple of minutes from start to finish. Hope this helps bud.

 

I can only assume that it has a little MICRO SWITCH on the boot lock inside the boot itself.
Check this has not come off/broken as they are fragile.
it consists of a little pluger in the sw that needs pushing in to break curcuit, of course it if breaks comes off this does not happen.
