Default Drooping Mirrors

Does anyone else suffer from drooping mirrors? Mine have got worse after i had the cover on for a while.

Anything that can be done to remedy this?

Pete.

the spring that hlds it in place has a small pin to locate the mirror in the place it's supposed to be held
there are also a few plastic prongs to hold it in the right orentation

what normally happens is that the pin holding the spring bends

you can unhook it with difficulty and realign it all with a new bit of metal, but it's a right royal pain in the arse

if you hold the mirror in the right place does it go back there? can you see if the pin has bent? is the plastic casing holding the pin in place bent?

Cheers.

I shall try and have a look tonight if the weather is not too shitty, but pretty sure it goes back to where it should be if you hold it.

Finally got round to having a look.

Both pins are bent, one mirror seems slighty slack, the other one nice and stiff. Platic bits look ok.

Is it possible to take this pin out and bend it back straight? It looks like the plastic has been moulded round the pin and that it would be impossible to take out Anyone managed to take this out before??

Looks like it should be repairable.....................
