help rs wont start off key !!

Default help rs wont start off key !!

wen i turn the key, i get flat battery effect, i use jump leads off my gf clio an it starts, wen i turn lights on or put windows down it cuts out, so i tighten the battery bolts that hold the wires on an the positive was slightly loose, so i jump start it again, leave it running wiv lights on, windows go down an it still running, then i turn it off for 1 min, then turn the key an its dead!! any ideas as i start new job 2morrow which is 15 miles away an it requires me driving about an parkin up 4 a bit (windscreen technician) an fixin cracks in peeps windscreens, my boss wont b impressed if im stuck sumwere, plz rs lads i need ur help any ideas a.s.a.p im desperate an need sum ideas,

I would take it to any good motor factor place and get the battery and alternator tested

Probably your battery mate.

If the terminals weren't tight it won't of been charging, and automotive batteries weren't designed to be flattened.

Flattening an old battery usually enough to top it off, then it will need replacing.

As suggested have bpth your battery and alternator charging rate tested

cheers lads, i bumped it again this morning, got it started then took it 4 a drive, parked up turned it off an bk on an it starts off key now, must of bin the loose bolt on the battery, suprised as it was only loose a couple of turns, must of charged bk up wen i drove it about, once again nice one lads
will go garage monday mornin jus 4 peice of mind
