Hi Folks,
I want to buy a domain name for email use only, i dont want to create a webiste or anything like that , i just need the domain for email use. Am i right in saying that i dont need to purchase hosting or anything like that, i can just like it upto my existing bt internet server using outlook express and use the email address as i wish ?

you basically need 2/3 things depending on how you're doing it...
1 a name....
2 some hosting for that name DNS....
3 a mail server to point that name too.
most companies will host the domain name if you buy it from them.
