As i said before mate the kit isn't guaranteed to fix it for you though.

Depends whats damaged and the extent of it........

So have you got 2 turbo's?

BROWN wires are ALWAYS earth. Have you removed every fuse in sequence and properly checked they aren't blown?

Should have kept hold of the spare one

Try replacing the relays they are easy to get hold of

The smaller relays are the lighting ones, and the bigger square ones are ignition ones etc.

Try replacing them all, but to be honest a relay shouldnt fry from reversed polarity.

Don't know any sites as such.

I did my own turbo but i didn't take any pictures of it, i planned to but just couldn't be arsed in the end as time was against me

Wouldn't want to try and explain without pictures

How much did you sell the other turbo for just out of interest?

50 quid m8 with manifold and elbow just what i payed 4 it it was shagged tho m8 if id have put it on it would have caused some right damage there was that much play in it EBAY NUMBER 200063962998 did you find it very hard to do the turbo m8 and when rebuilding with the kit does that iliminate play in the shaft

Ah ok fair was just curious.

I didn't find it THAt hard, its not the easiest job but i'll give anything a bash im usual successful. Theres some clips inside that are a right fucking cunt to do though, and thats with circlip pliers and i somehow managed to do it without

As i said, the kit won't necessarily eliminate play, depends whats worn........general ruls though if theres play its more than seals that are worn..........

Couldn't tell you mate. Its standard! And ive only spent 6 weeks driving it which worked out to be 3,500 miles

Took longer doing all the work to it. Standard boost, K&N, Scorpion system, ported and polished head and it did have a power engineering cam but that went (and was part of the reason i took it back off the road)

Did the rev limiter in 5th though

That will be 2 stage boost control i expect. Theres a brown and beige round thingy on the gearbox that will be making the clicking.

Nah never made a MK3 turbo, i did it myself! Wish i knew then what i do now..............would never of put the MFI into it

Yea but the amal valve will send waste back into the air box when its turned on, which will give a higher boost pressure.
