just got some escort cossie rims on my saff with 225 tyres on and they rub on the front arches, I have a set of goodyear eagles 205's does any one know if the will fit on the escort rims?

 

when I had Escos alloys on I had 225/45 tyres on and had the front arches rolled all the ones I've seen with 205's on look like the tyres been scretched over the 8" alloy IMO!

 

All right mate i had a sierra hatch back with escort cossie rims on n my car was lowered 30mm n i had 215 40 16 tyres on my rims n they didnt catch they often i tried 225 50 16 tyres n arches of the car on the front just sat on the tyres so i went for 215 40 16

 

215/40/16 Is the perfect size.

I had them on my saff with no probs for years.

Goodyears or Uniroyal rainsports are good for the money.
