Heres a few pics of it today. Only comes out in the dry really so was lovely to see it. Had the lower splitter moved forward so it was more prominant and new bolts fitted!!

It's not a monte is it? Where's the Monte wheels?

Very nice though all the same

909 are the start of the FINIS code for Ford Motorsport Parts (GpA).

IIRC all dealer sold EsCos have sunroofs!!!!!!!

EsCos with no sumroofs are sometimes referred to as "909's" or "Motorsport Shells"..............

Quite a rarity I actually think that may even be a dealer motorsport and not a build up has all the right spec.. non recaro Karman seats, no rear opening windows, manual front windows, headlight washer jet blanks, no sunroof.. its all there minus the fog light grils

What year is this Esc? I'm hoping your say its a late '94 to have YBB in a YBP shell. No idea whether the dealer motorsport's where 909 marked thou

It has a boreham build plate no which starts with 909. Seam welded aswell through most of the car, well in the boot at least havent took all the carpets up or anything so not sure if the whole chssis and floor pan is.
Bud-weis : yes it is the one from avenue, ran like shit cos it used to have a 330bhp kit but they took it off and just left the exhaust and 803 dark greens on!!! Luckily my bro sent it to harvey gibbs and now has pectal piggyback 3bar map sensor, gpa coil etc. Runs lovely now!

Its an L reg and im pretty sure was sold through dealer. Was maintained for years and almost completely rebuilt by brooklyn redditch a few years ago, even down to nuts and bolts previous owner wanted no faults with the car so spent Thousands having work done!

It is very clean, but they did leave it in the hands of monkeys! When i first looked at it a year ago it had all the bits for 330 bhp, but they tried to put it back to stock and left the injectors, ran like crap cos of the fuel but like i said harvey has done a wonderfull job and it runs so well now! just goes to show that they need proper maintanence and modification from specialists!

Well fuck knows what it is then cos it was confirmed by Harvey gibbs as an original car! Why would it have the 909 plate then? No sunroof etc, if anyone could let me know what it is would be oppreciated.

I'd say its a motorsport not commonly refered to as the 909 motorsport tho'

Just a lightweight special edition that was used to produce the homoligation figures needed for cars to compete.

No the car doesnt have rear headrests that i can remember.

To be honest though im not so fussed with bickering with people bout what it is, cos th e i.d plate says boreham motorsport so that and what harvey and the reciepts say is enough for me .

bud-weis=Not sure who worked on it there but yeah im sure they could tell all about it, I am gunna pop down soon and see if they can tell me more about the car as im generally interested anyway.
