Hey John,
Yes I know been busy (usually crime stuff), everything is good. What's happening with you? Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Car is doing well just fitted an MSD closed loop chip, runs great. I'll send you an email later. Yes that was my car in the mag, not sure where that pic came from as it was not one of mine. Did not know about the article until I got several calss and emails.
Vic, normally you need to fit coilovers (or so I'm told) but I managed to fit my wheels without them. I am however still on standard springs (4x4), with the only upgrade being Koni sport dampers. 215/35 tyres is probably the largest I go without coilovers.

I can tell you with my 18's and 215/35/18 on standard suspension the ride isn't that much worse than 17's but the steering will however take a few miles to get adjusted to. After I mounted the 18's the car seemed a bit more "darty" as if the road was steering the car, I hear this is normal with these size tires. Once you get accustomed to it you should be fine. I drive mine in New York City and have no problems.
BTW I run 35psi of tyre pressure.
