I've found a set of Fiesta ST brakes for sale at £230.

But was wondering, does anyone know how they compaire to other set ups I can buy for my fez. Say cossie brakes.

Is £230 a good price to pay for them?

And does anyone know if I'll have any problems fitting them to a Mk2 XR2?

 

Probably never been fitted to a Mk2 XR2 , so you'll be wanting custom brakets....


As for how good they are? Dunno...

 

Not to sure but what size are they as the st170 items fit with not to much problems for maybe 50 quid more and they are 300mm, cossie ones are 280mm

 

St 150 brakes are 278mm, the same as 4x4 cossie ones, they are the same caliper as used on the s max with slighty different offset discs, hope that helps, i know they go on mk3 fiesta's with a 2mm spacer between the hub and caliper!

Personaly the ones I've driven, they don't seem to bite, or really stop you. Might be the one I've driven, with standard discs and pads.

300mm ST170 discs and calipers might be what you want.
